Taking Bakwaas' advice I cropped the first light pole. The edited version is here


The string of street lights reminded me so much of a spinal column of a whale I had seen in a museum as a child. Every time I passed this bridge I thought of taking this picture but either I was the driver so it would have been dangerous to take a pic or I didn't have my camera with me or it was night time and the pic was all blurry. This time I was in a bus so I could take the pic but there's some motion blur in it. Since I always wanted to capture the shot I didn't want to miss another chance. I've bumped the saturation a bit and cropped it slightly. That's about all the PP that I did.

sorry as i saw it again, i thgt it might look better if u cropped the first lamp post...jsut a suggestion...u are the original creator...:)

@Bakwaas.. Now that you mention it I can't remember why I kept that first pole in the frame...It doesn't seem to fit well with the composition in mind..I'll put up an edited version soon.. Thanks for bringing this up..
