An experiment in selective coloring. The sky was a flat pale blue so I thought I'll make this B/W and then I thought I'll try giving it selective coloring. Took over an hour to do it. The result is mediocre but I'm putting it up anyways.

i kinda like it...
I kinda like it too. I think it would work even better if the woman was not included and it was cropped tighter. The plants look cool against the gray soil and sky.
i like your site!
rather well done, a nice idea, and nice clean lines.
i'm linking to you!
(i do wish you'd keep photos smaller, though. i can't see all of it...i run at 800x600)
Interesting perspective...
my comments are exactly same as timmubomb....spl the woman is not at all looking right in the frame....
Very nice...I think the woman should be in the shot, otherwise it's just a colourful hill. Well composed!
I like the wide view.
Yes, I am back from holiday, will drop by regularly again!
Thanks everyone for your comments...
@OM :)
@timmybomb Ummm without the woman in the frame it becomes very commonplace. If there had been an interesting cloud formation in the sky then I'd have definitely cropped the woman out of the frame
@sigbhu thanks for the kind words
@kris :)
@Deeps imagine the frame with a dull gray background and no woman..without the woman its just a shot of flowers and since this was taken at max zoom on my 75-300mm the flowers didn't have a good resolution so I couldn't keep this just a flowers shot..
@Dave you interpreted it just as I saw it when I took the shot..thanks :)
@Chantal thanks... and welcome back.. we've missed you... :)
found this in ur archive , amazing work with post processing
