Totally Board or Totally Nuts?

Click the picture for a zoom view

There's a path of wooden boards on the edge of one of the lagoons near my place. Clean and polished (who does that anyways?clean I can understand but polished too??) I mean you can see the sunlight reflecting off of it in the frame. I was on my tummy trying to capture this pattern. I wanted to focus on only the first bolt and imply that the rest were symmetrical. I was down on my tummy for this one too and there were many joggers and walkers who rolled their eyes and probably thought "He's nuts!!" while others probably thought "That's what boredom will drive you to do"... well and there you have a pun for a title.

Thanks everyone for your comments..

@kris I use the 75-300mm canon lens which isn't very good at max zoom. you might want to see the 70-200mm or the 70-300mm by canon. Though those were a little out of my budget at the time

@Doris I know I thought no one would even notice a photographer prostrate on the ground but I suppose people in Foster City haven't see photographers before.. :)
