Sometimes you are not even looking for photo ops and they stare at you. The day this pic was taken the whole sky had dark foreboding clouds, heavy with rain. That's what I tried to capture by cropping this vertically to show the heavy clouds. Another reason this was cropped vertically was because it enhanced the vertical lines of the crosses. Amidst the dark heavy clouds it was strange to see that the only patch of clear sky was framing the head of the crosses. I had to take the pic.

ha ha...ncie shot..and the vertical does come out better in a vertical frame. Also the part of clear sky is too good a capture...on a lighter note...did not get any catholics wanting this shot :)?
