Men of Water and Light

It was the same trip and I found myself at the Belaggio waiting with hundreds of others to watch the dazzling fountains. The low light conditions made for a difficult shot. Any vibration or slight movement of my hands would blur the picture. Luckily for me there was a waist high wall which provided me with a place to keep the camera. Now all I had to do was wait for the right moment to take the picture. Slow shutter speed provided this shot with a sense of motion as the fountains sprayed water into the air. The dark sky provided a perfect backdrop for the reflection in the water enhancing the effect of the ripples.
